Call for Proposals
 

Greetings:

The Association of Computer Educators in Texas (ACET) is celebrating its 51st annual conference under the theme “IT ED, Best Practices for Computer Education” at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Belton TX 30-31 October 2015. The ACET Board of Directors invites you to submit a 100-250 word abstract of your session proposal for presentations, panel sessions or roundtable discussion on:

Current Technology
Next Generation Technology

Web Development
IT Pedagogy/Teaching
Data Management
Cloud Development

Software Development
Other

 

Please complete the “Proposal Form” and email it to   by the dates in the yellow box below.

Keep in mind that the top five percent of accepted completed papers will be automatically accepted for publication in the ACET Journal of Computer Education and Research; our online, peer-reviewed journal. At least one presenter is required to register for the conference by  October 25 in order for the paper to be scheduled for delivery at the conference. At least one person must be available at the presentation for the Abstract to be published in the Conference Proceedings.

Please note that when a faculty member co-authors a paper with a graduate student, that faculty member must register and attend the conference; it is not sufficient that only the graduate student register. Undergraduate student submissions regarding research or projects need to refer to the link for Student Presentations on the ACET website.
